What kinds of organizations do you work with? +

We work with private companies, non-profits, social enterprises, and professional associations across British Columbia and Canada. Our services are suited for organizations with 15 to 200 staff, though we assess fit on a case-by-case basis. If your organization is going through a meaningful transition, we're likely a reasonable match.

How long do engagements typically last? +

Our three core services run 3, 6, and 10 weeks respectively. Some clients extend engagements or return for follow-on work. We don't structure contracts around billable hours — you'll know the scope and timeline up front.

What does the initial consultation involve? +

We begin with a 45-minute conversation to understand your context and assess whether there's a good fit. There's no formal pitch or proposal pressure. You'll walk away with a clearer sense of what working with us would look like, and we'll follow up with a written summary if you'd like to proceed.

How is confidentiality handled during a diagnostic? +

All interview participants are informed that their input is anonymized in our reporting. We do not attribute specific comments to individuals. The final report reflects themes, not quotations. If your team has specific confidentiality concerns, we can discuss additional protocols before work begins.

Are services available for organizations outside Vancouver? +

Most of our work is delivered remotely using video calls and shared documents, which means geography isn't a barrier for most clients. For engagements that include in-person sessions, we work across BC and select locations across Canada. Travel costs are discussed as part of the project proposal.

What's included in the Board Readiness 90-day check-in? +

Three months after the program concludes, we schedule a structured call to review how governance is settling in practice. We note what's working, flag any adjustments worth considering, and answer questions that have come up since the program ended. It's included in the program fee and takes about 60 minutes.
